Two (2) Suggestions...

1. How about a new classified section under "common parts - all years" for "engines"

2. How about a Webmaster contact link or a Suggestion forum so I wouldn't have to list these suggestions HERE.

Did you bother to look at the bottom of the page where it says "contact us" ?

How about making just one classified section that's free to everyone?
This has got to be the only forum on the whole entire internet where club membership is required in order to use part of the classified section.
It's only a matter of time before someone else creates a better Chevelle forum with a normal, simple, free classified section.
Maybe that's what I'll do this weekend.

Too many people looking for freebies in life.. membership has it's privileges and benefits... and being able to sell and buy parts from other PAID Members is one of them.. Not unlike any other CLUB in life.. certain understood bonds come from it and the feeling that just maybe you won't get ripped off when dealing with someone who is a PAID member.. not that it can't happen.. but it's less likely. :)

Jeff, the public classifieds are very busy and several million bucks worth of items have changed hands there. Stuff is selling in minutes for some items.

What Mike said is true, the public area does receive complaints about deals not as described, unable to contact seller after a sale, etc.
The member to member area had about 3 issues. We know who the supporting member really is, address, phone etc compared to the free section (free, for 14 years now, with 3 photos too, don't see that often). :)

I think it provides the best of both worlds. Security in the member area and high traffic/sales in the public. Hope that explains it a bit better.
