I lost the key to my Chevelle several weeks ago so I took out the ignition and got a whole new assembly. Being stupid I didn't check to see which wire went where and I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out what goes where. The Chevelle has a painless wiring system on it but the diagram they provide doesn't seem to match.

Does anyone have any ideas or possibly know about the orginal wiring setup.
Anything will help im really stuck.:(

I got the wiring diagram but the only problem is that it only shows the wires going to the ignition switch not each individual part.

My question now is can anyone fill in the blanks with what color wire(s) goes to each spot.

Is any factory wiring left? These are the factory colors.....

IGN-pink
SOL-purple
ACC-brown
BAT-red
GRD-green
