We had the quarter panels replaced on our 72 El Camino, now the studs for the molding clips are gone as the new GM quarters don't include the studs.
Can someone please take some clear pictures of their truck (if the moldings are off) for me? I need to know how many clips there are and where do they belong.
Finally making some headway with this project and hate all of these show stopping interuptions. :o
Thanks

Color me confused   Your post title says window trim, but you mention quarter panels :p Which do you need? I have my side moldings removed right now and will take some pics if that is what you need. And I'm assuming you would need from door back, both sides (?) .

The quarters go up to the rear window, need pix of the window trim studs or rear window trim clips with the window trim (mouldings) removed. If the trim (mouldings) is on, can't see the clips. :D
Talking about the rear window, are you with me? Maybe I threw you by calling the mouldings trim. My bad.

Understand now. Won't be able to help with window trim. Sorry.

Best I can do. You can see the installed clips, they are light blue. I painted the actual window surface with POR-15, thats the black.
