Im buying a one of the Classic Radiators with the 3 core. I emailed dozens of the people who bought them for the chevelle and they said great fit and no issues. Big inch/big power engines had no problem with them too....I need to save all I can right now seems like a good choice. Add an electric fan and your set.

i worry about cheap-i too am running out of money but hate to cheat on the cooling especially a 396 bb as they are known for running hot.
i have e-mailed them some questions but now i like the style of the alumatechs as i have been pointed to.

After looking at tons of E/bay rads and doing allot of research .. what I have found is its hard to find anything on there that's not made with over seas cores ...yes they may say built in Canada or USA ..but the true fact is there in China or over seas cores .
there are also complete radiator's coming over by the container load .. complete's welded up off shore for $98.00 then whole salers turn them around and sell them for $198.00

I take pride in the fact that I strictly build all of our units with American cores and components to keep usa workers in a job .
heck I pay more for a core then you can buy these complete rads from China on e/bay for... why risk your American Muscle car to inferior parts .

sad that the industries have adopted the buy it cheep from China and turn a buck on it .. its getting to be the Walmart way of thinking across the board .

We are not here to compete in that market .. why anybody would put overseas products into there American muscle car is beyond me ..unless they did not know they were buying a over seas parts .

thanks for your support team members .

I too bought an Alumitech for my 66' 475-570hp. They are more expensive than that China JUNK, but what's just as important to me is customer service.

I called Don on the phone with a couple of questions while installing my duel electric fan unit, he was more than helpful on the phone, took his time in explaining things to me (while I was in the garage with the phone)and told me I could call him anytime I had a question.

Try calling the cheapo companies with customer service AFTER THE SALE, you'll probably be speaking to someone in a cubicle and they've never even installed a radiator. Yes, Don's units cost more, but they're worth it in my opinion.

How does the old saying go....Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten. Lastly, I'm not one of these lucky people with tons of money, I work two jobs. My second job money goes directly to my car, so I also watch my money too. But the cooling system is very important, why skimp?

Don offers a quality product. He's located here in Michigan, just a few miles from where I live. In addition to being a TC sponsor he's always offering advice on cooling issues with no sales pitch, just sound advice.

Just some things to consider when choosing a supplier.
