Hi all,
I'm not sure what I need for hooking my horn button up on my steering wheel. The wheel is the original '72 SS wheel. It's the one that has the soft center with "SS" in the center. I consider it a bar type, and it's definitely not one of the 4 spoke wheels.
Since it's been about 6 years since the begining of my restoration project I can't remember if there was a wire inside under the horn button or not. What is needed for hooking up this style of wheel's horn button?
It does have one spade wire terminal coming out of the underside of the steering wheel's center section. It leads me to believe that the contacts are built into this center section. I'm wondering if all I have to do is hook up a wire to it and then "plug" the other end of the wire (the end with the spring mechanism) into the column.
Anybody out there that can offer any help?
Thanks,
Dan
