I have a 70 elcamino that i want to remove all the ac stuff off of the firewall. Is there anyone out there that makes a cover to replace it so that i can retain just a heater? Thanks

American Grafitti had one, but I have not seen hide nor hair of them in a while. it's not really that hard to fab one up. I made one 10 years ago for my 70.

You can also go with the stock "heater only" box. Ebay is always good to find an old heater box.

I bought this one:

It's not installed yet, but it looks pretty good. The factory 'heater only' box will not work on a car that had factory AC.

The AC opening on the firewall is larger and a different shape than a heater only car.

I've got an American Grafitti cover on my original A/C equipped '70.
