Hey, I got my brakes mocked up and found that my wheel studs are too short. Im using c5 zo6 brakes and my wheels are 17" Boze Mesh rims. I can get the lugs started but they dont protrude out at all. I came across these Morroso wheel studs, Summit p/n MOR-46150and was wondering if these would work ok. Also as far as installing them I assume that I could just press them out of the hubs in a vice and use a lug nut to suck the new ones back in. If you have any recommendations please feel free to recommend

Matt,
Did the same thing when I did my brakes.....used Dorman studs though. Check the knurl size to be sure. The Morroso's were too big for my flanges.
You can whack 'em out with a BIG hammer. Use an old lug nut upside down and put washers under it with LOTS of grease. My impact pulled them in but don't over do it or you can break the stud. Also have extra lug nuts. They get really hot and won't last long.

bring one of your existing studs to a good parts store and have the guy behind the counter whip out the Dorman catalog.. just match up the knurl and thread size and find one that's the length you need.

Yep---do this
I am doing the same thing, kinda. Am determined to use 2001 S-10 wheels. Need studs a bit longer AND had to find 7/16 lugnuts that would accept the plastic nuts to hold the centercaps on.
Had to buy new studs also because the hubs and axles need turned down for the wheels to fit.

Got the lugnuts
pricey little suckers they are-----$3. each
regular late model metric are $1.25
The guy behind the counter at MotorMart/Car Quest helped me figure this all out.
Got the front hubs turned down---left the area that centers the drum---and front wheels on.
Next weekend I will be pulling axles and turning those down for the wheels to fit.
