i have a 2 door 69 chevelle, recently i was trailering it home and back window flew out, anyways i found a 4 door chevelle (same year). would that back window fit my 2 door. let me know thanx erick

Welcome to the site. I think the back window is the same. also goes for GTO, Buick, Pontiac, Lemans, Impala coupe's

I have a '72 Lemans back glass and it isn't even close to fitting a '69. I took it to the glass shop to get installed by mistake. I don't know about other years.

I stand to be corrected here, but I would think the back glass for a four door would be different than a two door. At least the angle is certainly different.

Just my two cents worth.

The back glass between 4 door and 2 door is different. It is squared off at the top (4 door) where as the 2 door is rounded on all 4 corners.

But DO NOT buy a PPG rear glass. They don't come even remotely close to fitting.

Yes if you do a search on PPG you'll probably find all the discussions and situations where others ran into the same problem I did. About 5 years ago I bought 2 different PPG rear glass from 2 different dealers and both were the same, not remotely usable.

thought the 4 dorrs rear glass was more flat then the 2 door where it was curved.but ill try a 68 69 chevelle,lemans,gto,tempest any of the gm a bodys from those 2 years
