i have a 69 chevelle, i just put some gas in it from a can i have, but now i believe the gas was really really old. and now my car is running bad like no power and is spewing a lot of grey smoke outta the pipes. is this because of the gas and what should i do?? graemlins/beers.gif

my guess is that it was mixed for a 2-stroke engine with some oil in it explaining the smoke. Usually bad gas just wont fire or start up! hope this helps

I AGREE (2 STROKE), BUT WHAT EVER IT IS GET A NEW FUEL FILTER AND GET THAT FUEL OUT OF YOUR TANK. TOP OFF SOME PREMIUM AND GET SOME WATER DISPLACEMENT ADDITIVE. YOU MIGHT EVEN HAVE FOULED THE PLUGS. GOOD LUCK.
