I bought a repro mirror today from NPD. The bracket that holds the mirror to the drivers door doesn't even fit. The holes are too close together. Anyone else have similar experiences? Where is my best source for this? Who makes the best one?

I used OER reproduction mirrors on my car to replace some aftermarket bullet mirrors. They fit up fine but the passenger side mirror does not have nearly enough adjustability to make it useful. I have since learned that others have had the same problem. The best replacements are originals.

I'd like to know too. My repo mirror changes adjustment everytime I close the door!

I just ordered a new dsm for my 67,the other repro I had fit the bracket-but the mirror just got so loose on the base I had to remove it before it dropPed on the door--hope the next one works out better
