I had thought before I took my intake to see if it was not mating up properly that I would try an 1/8" thick gasket instead of the 1/6" to see if it would make any difference in my engine woes.

I have been trying to get it to stop sucking oil. Maybe the intake maybe not. Tried all the tests to see if it was it with out any luck.
Pulled the intake any way and I'm having a performance shop look at the gaskets while they are still on the engine.
But Summit nor Jegs offer 1/8" thick on oval ports in their better gaskets like Ultra Seal or the performance Felpro.
There is a number with Jegs http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=2418&prmenbr=361
720-117 Thick: 1/8''
Oval Port: 1.85'' x 2.16''
But how well will it work? Guess it might be worth a try before I try to have the intake machined.
If any one knows of a performance gasket 1/8" thick for the oval port big block chevy let me know.
Thanks.
