Will it hurt anything to run a wheel with only 4 lug nuts? I have a badly cross-threaded stud in my right front.

It makes it alot easier to strip other studs if they get loose.

Run down to the auto parts store, grab a new stud and lug nut, they usually sell them in singles.
Smack the old one out, and draw it through the assembly with an open lug nut.. may not be right way to do it, but it works for me..

I destroyed 2 studs trying to limp home on 4 after one came loose and got all mucked up. I was 200 yards from my driveway and tried to get home instead of walking and doing it right..
