:wacko: I'm replacing the pressure hose on my 72. The factory assembly manual has 2 notes for this install. On each of the hard line ends, it calls to "ROTATE PIPE TO REST AGAINST PUMP BRACKET ( at the pump end ) and REST AGAINST STEERING GEAR COVER" (at the gear box end).

Seems like its calling for direct contact. :confused: Wouldn't this cause wear? Yet if I hold it off direct contact ( 1/8 inch or so) seems like vibration may cause more problems. :mad:
