I have one other post in engine "carb. problem ?"thought I might get more responce's here.

Any way will only run at between 2000-3000 rpm. Can't set timing at that.Plugs all black,rebuilt the carb. same thing.Checked cam lobes all there,was thinking intake was leaking anyway.Pluged all vacume sources.Back fires some out of exhast.

What else can I check,beside's doing compression check ?Or is it still carb. related?
