I need a decent cover for my 71. What do you recommend for around a couple hundred bucks or less?

Unfortunately the car is going to be outside for a while, so I plan to cover it, then wrap it tightly with a tarp on top of that.

Use a good cover, but avoid the tarp, which will trap moisture but not breathe.

Well I'm in Alaska and was thinking the tarp on top would keep the snow off the cover so it doesn't just become a sponge.

Noah fabric for the cover. Get a tarp big enough to drive/roll the car onto and then make a "sandwich" with it. The few times I kept the car in the snow I did that. Ground moisture can be a problem here in "tropical" Buffalo. ;) Maybe not up there.
