Not long ago, someone on here was talking about a program or website that could scan the craigs list nation wide. Might be worth a search or two. I'd ping your buddy again to check his browser history. He should find where he saw it there after a little investigative work unless he deleted his browser history.

craigslist is becoming as bad as other sites. don't get me wrong, it's a great site, but as usual p.o.s.scam artist are working it. i check craigslist daily, and not just locally, but nationaly, and i found a guy who had listed a barracuda for sale in every city that craigslist has at an unbelievable price, so i inquired and of course got the usual, he was going to pay for delv. of the ride and everything, so i went threw and flagged every ad i could find of his.

we all need to keep an eye out, and maybe we can keep people from being ripped of, i personally turn 2-3 cars a day into e-bay. people seal the ads from e-bay and put them on craigslist, and vice a versa. it wouldn't surprise me if they stole your pics....

I would say either your buddy is messing with you or it was a car similar to yours. I found a bunch of 69 SS Chevelles dark all dark in color. Could be blue could be any other dark color. What about the ad made him think it was yours?

He said the license plate was the same color and had all the same letters but 2 were switched, and it had the same gauges, he thought I had just posted it in another cities craigslist to sell it faster, but he should know I can't sell that car... ever
