I'm going to go look at a smashed up 69 4door for sale here today. I'm wondering if the rear window channel is the same or at least similar to my 70 2 door coupe. According to the current owner the front sheetmetal is toast, and the frame is bent. Interior is in pretty good shape. The engine and tranny are ok. What other parts will swap from one to the other? The guy wants $500 for the whole car... Would it be worth it to pick up and sell off the parts I don't need?

The rear window area and glass are different.

The seats are different, interior trim is different and quarters are different as is the front and rear glass, roof line and frame. The dash, driveline/ A/C and everthing else is the same.

Is any of that stuff the same as a 69 2 door? I guess what I'm asking is if it's worth picking up to part out.

69s and 70's are 2 different animals. a 2 door is not a good parts car for a 4 door :D if you are looking for body parts behind the front fender except for the rear trunk lid and trunk pans.

Thanks for the info, are the interior parts the same from a 69 2 door to a 69 4 door? Front seats? Rear seats? Floor pans? Dash? Front and rear suspensions?

For the rear window opening, I was hoping that it'd be simar enough to mine to rob the Vertical parts from the roof/quarter seam down to the tulip panel. Mostly the lower corner....

The dash will work and suspensions other than that everything is unique to the 4 door.
