I just picked these up. I hope and pray the frames fit my 64 chevelle seat covers. They do bolt in and they do fold straight forward.

If you ask me, they look like Impala buckets.

I have a set of Impala seats too big. They hit each other.These seats fit perfect. Is there any place I can get measurements so i know the frames are the same. This is the hardest part I found so far to ID with this car.

They look like A-body to me. What do the tracks look like? Do they have all four floor mounts or only three with the fourth looking like a sleeve? The B-body or full-size cars have a stub welded to the pan from the factory that the sleeve slides over on the inside front corner(next to the console if you had one). Pics of the tracks would help. 64elkynss

All 4 mounts. I believe the front 2 mounts are slotted and the rears are dual holes on both sides.

Look like 64-65 to me. I have a set that look identical in my 65 chevelle.

They could be 66 Corvair buckets................not sure.

BINGO! They are 1966 corvair buckets. I googled 66 corvair and found those seats mounted in restored corvair photos. Still have to find out if the frames are the same.

yeah they are around those years you need to see what a set of 64 chevelle seats look like from the rear also. If the backrest has that same arch I believe you are in business.

I picked up a set of 64 Corvair seats and they are 2 1/8 inches wider than stock 65 seats. There is a thread I found here doing a search on Corvair seats which describes how to make them work. Check this link.

Thanks Ron. I have read your thread. But these are 66 seats and do indeed fold straight ahead. I still dont know if the frames are the same but I cant see them being 2 inches wider. They fit so well. Anybody have some kind of measurements?
