shadow150 Apr 15th, 03, 7:41 PM I have a 67 chevelle 396-th400 trans with a 2800 stall converter. Every time I put it in reverse the engine dies. The idle speed is set a little high because of the 292 cam. I haven't had this car very long so any ideas will be appreciated. thanks steve malibu man Apr 15th, 03, 10:32 PM Does it do it just in reverse? Is your vacuum modulator working or is the line connected? What vacuum is your modulator running off of? Vacuum leak? Are your floats set??? Are your idle mixture screws on your carb set? Are your brakes locking up? :D Is your fluid level proper? Just some things to think about? | ||
