Hello, I have this problem, whenever I go down a steep hill or turn my steering wheel to fast my 72' chevelle malibu (350) stales out (not fun when going down a steep hill). It might be the calipers but I dunno if that has anything to do with it...im just barely getting into fixing up old cars. If anyone could help I would be very greatful...thank you

Replace the fuel filter! You might be surprised to find out that is a symptom of a plugged up filter. graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Yeah I already did that about 2 weeks ago...dunno how fast you would go through them but I dont think it would be that fast or at least I hope not =).

I would suggest checking for a vacuum leak. That may explain the going down a hill and braking part of your stalling problem. Not sure about the turning sharp.

Another thing you might want to check is the float level on your carb. Might be way off you never know.
