Just got off chat and someone asked me if anyone from our little deranged section of TC was going. I know MikeP and MikeS were interested at one time, is anyone else?

I have wanted to go for years but the timing could not be worse . My son is always playing Baseball and School is not out yet. Besides I want to drive Ol' Blue there not just fly in or have my "Street Car" trailered there.

My Daughter usually misses a few days of school. The year I trailered my car down my wife and daughter flew down. Was`nt the most economical solution but with the price of fuel and flights going down Im probably going to bring my car again and have them fly in.

It's not in the cards this year for me Mark, nothing I would like better than to run over there with Mike. My wife is due with our second daughter on May13th and my first has here 3rd birthday June 6th. I'll be too busy this time around.

I think they ought to do a west coast thing like that maybe in Vegas, Tennessee is a long ways away:sad:. Nobody with racing gears would be going unless they had OD.

I would be into driving with a bunch of others if a group was going. A 10 bolt peg leg with 2:73's can be picked up pretty cheap and leave the 12 bolt at home! LOL

I was thinking of including our other western Chevelle brothers, like Rowdy, Webfoot, etc. It'd be a good road trip but not too far, would just have to have a good cooling system to be down there driving around:yes:

I bought a 12 bolt peg leg today from a guy that has 2 10 bolts for sale as well!! Ratio unknown but I would think they would be highway friendly gears!!

Now you're making me wish I had kept my 10 bolt a 3.08 gear open diff....save the $600 I spent on 3.73 gears, posi, etc. and get that S60 or 12 bolt. Oh well, I guess that's what GV is for:yes:

the Oregon Chevelle/Camino clubs show in Portland is probably the closest we have to a west coast Chevellabration... Its even sponsored by ACES...

Its a great show, and is always pretty big for a regional show (100-150 cars).

Would be neat if Aces did a Chevelleabration WEST show one year.
