72 ss, orange, black VT, black bucket seat interior, gauge pkg, appears to be 85-90% original, including paint, right side full qtr replaced, alot of nicks and dings, alittle custy around the edges, btm of qtrs/fenders. Floors and trunk are solid. vin coded small block L48 with TH350 trans with all smog and A/C. I believe survivor status.

I live in the 80's when it comes worth, as I'm constantly low in my estimations and what I would personally pay.

No sugar coating or pulling of punches. I'd like an honest opinion.

Thanks!

It appears it could use some patches, and fresh paint. Being a small block car, and without a build sheet or window sticker, you will never convince future buyers of its real heritage. If the car truly is an SS, you may find a doc. in the car, this would add more value due to it being a SS,and a survivor. With a build sheet, 12-14k, without one, its just a Malibu clone, that needs restored,7-9k.

thanks guys

yep, It could use patches and that is all I would do if a restoration was performed. However, IMO the car is better perserved as is. Just needs a good cleaning and a few mechanical issues righted.

I strongly believe the BS is in the car, just a matter of tearing it apart.

10 to 15 is what I was thinking, so I guess I'm not too buried in the 80's. :D

anyone else?
