i just got a new power steering pump to replace the old leaky one. it is supposedly the exact same pump. i put the same brackets and pully on it that were on the other one. now the pully sticks out too far and the belt hits the fan belt. im totally lost on this one. as far as i can tell the pully is on all the way. any suggestions?

Check the brackets, you probably accidentally swapped them, or they are turned around.
