I have a pc with Windows XP. I have a network cable plugged into it and it recognizes that it is plugged in, in the network connections folder. However, the internet still doesn't work. What do I need to do here? Thanks.

You have the LAN connected ,have you set up your connection ?

I got it working. Just a matter of setting something to automatic, now it works fine.
