Anyone know where I can pick one up? Anyone know the part number? I need an actuator for a 1972 Malibu Convertible. One of the fitting holes is stripped out and leaks.

Think our sponsor "Ground Up" can supply them, although they MAY be in pairs, not sure.

Good luck smile.gif

Most of the repro houses sell them as does http://www.convertibleparts.com/ "They" always say to replace ONLY in pairs. Because if the seals don't leak now, they will when you replace one and not the other. Kinda pricey. Then you need new hose assembly and fluid and bleeder and on and on........ I just love this hobby graemlins/hurray.gif

Thanks Dave.
My cousin ordered a pair today. I agree that he should replace both of them and he is going to. The pump and lines are new. I know what you mean about this old car hobby......I have a 1971 Corvette Convertible eating a hole in my wallet graemlins/clonk.gif

Wallet what wallet? Mine disappeared years ago when I got my first 72... Now it just eats it right out of the bank account

At least you weren't on vacation and had to replace the cylinders cause the fittings stripped. That was fun graemlins/angry.gif
