I was curious to see if anyone knows of a documented pre-production Chevelle of any year? I'm not talking about prototypes. For example, before a new car is released, we have to go to a "ride and drive." They have pre-production cars there that were "test cars." They had wrong wheels, interiors, engines, etc. I asked the guy what would happen to them after they get the you know what beat out of them at the test track. He said they would be crushed. Seems like a waste. I'm sure some cars must leak out to the public if you knew the right people.
