Yep ANOTHER ONE!!!

ON Barrett-Jackson.com they show Lot# 362 as a quote: "An original Chevelle SS 454/425hp."

I guess it's ALL about the money, I just can't see why Craig Jackson insists on letting OBVIOUS bogus cars be proclaimed as "REAL DEAL" when in the end he's only hurting his co.s credibility.

The car is slated to be auctioned tomorrow, gold over black, buckets, TH400, 60sK miles etc...

Why's it bogus? There were LS6's in '71, right?

Man I should sell my clone at BJ and then use all the proceeds to buy two real ones from people in the real world. :)

No where in the listing does it mention LS6,it's a rough LS5(at best) with a lid decal from an LS6 vette.

I had the chance to buy a 71 LS6 Vette in 1985 for $9,000. Green with black interior. P/w, tilt, can't remember much else except it had 52,000 miles and was mint. I had the cash for it but my brother talked me out of it because " You can't drive those things in the winter ". I bought a new Thunderbird instead. 188 built. I am going over to my brothers place to kill him.

I would at least kick his ARSE!!! LOL
I watched some of BJ last night and have to say it was like they were trying to lie about the cars to boost the prices!!
the guy with the sunglasses kept stopping the auctioneer (example the 71 mach 1) and saying this is a numbers matching all correct bla bla bla while at the same time that Steve M. guy was saying this hood was not correct for this car and the carb is an edle. not factory?? seems like they are passing off crap for numbers matching mint originals!!!

What's with the sunglasses? Is he trying to hide something? Cocaine use?

More likely, lack of sleep and deep bags under his eyes. I can only assume they put the most "man hours" into this auction above the others and therefore probably hasn't gotten much sleep in the weeks leading up to it. Would you want to go on national tv looking like a dead raccoon? Nevermind the bright lights from the venue.

/bags under eyes are amplified on tv.
//sunglasses inside a building are still stupid

He wares them every year. He either is tired as stated, want's to look cool, or for anybody that's been on a TV set the lights as bright as the sun and can be very hard on the eyes at times.

No-one else is wearing them.

No-one else is wearing them.

Maybe they take them at the door? That way all those lights will BLIND them so they can't clearly see they are buying nice clones/fakes instead of the real deals???

:D
