For a 68 it looks like a 69 lost its whole body. What do you guys think? Quarter panel angle at the back look like 69 also?

must have had a 69 donor car. I've seen that before. In fact, I owned one.

Hard to tell about the rear angle, but I see 69 fenders and doors with a 69 dash, door panels and steering column. And 69 tail light housing but no side marker light on the quaterpanel.

68 or 69 that looks like a helluva deal, even if the body was questionable.

This is the fourth 69 I've seen with 68 titles now.
I beginning to wonder....

It looks like a '69 from rear quarter and front marker light holes. It looks like it has a '69 dashboard too.

"This Chevelle Has a 1969 dash and 1969 tail lights but comes with the 1968 taillights too. The grill is also a 1969..."

I think those are 68s with 69 parts.

My 66 was actaully a 67, rebuilt with a 66 donor car. Had a 67 title.

68 and 69s have a few more difficult parts to change than 66-67. The quarter panels are different along with the rear tail panel where the tail light housings bolt up to. It takes some butchering of the panel to get the housings mount on the incorrect year tail panel. I would be very suspicious of a car some one would go through the trouble to hang the wrong year quarter panels on. A lot easier to change trim tag and VIN plate. Also the car has the vents in the dash indicating an A/C car if it was indeed a 68. otherwise those vents indicate a 69 metal dash section with an Astro ventilation emblem above it. It is missing all theunderhood A/C stuff but does have the 4 bolt heavy duty radiator cover. It better also not have vents in the door jamb area. I think Dean is on the right path and it would be good to be verifying con VINs on such cobbled together cars.
