I have built my car to resemble a customized version of a Baldwin motion. Don't want a true clone. However, I would like to have the correct looking BB valve covers. I noticed in ground up they have valve covers that say Yenko or 427, then just some finned ones with nothing where the "yenko" part goes. Which valve covers would have been the correct ones?

I have a 496 that I have tried to keep looking like a stock 427. Did any of the Baldwin motions have iron heads or were all aluminum?

Motion covers had the word "Motion" where you see 427 check http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114720. Repos go for about $400. JOPARTS is on EBAY and always has some for sale. I believe their 427s had aluminum heads.

Motion is now up and running a selling their own valve covers again.
I think they are about $400. do a google search. They've got a new orange valve cover that looks pretty neat.

The original Motion Valave covers came out in 1970 and have a Motion emblem stuck on with double back tape. The same emblem used on the outside of the cars.
