Does anyone know what size of threads are on the original metal oil line on a 65 Chevelle, I'm having trouble finding an adapter to fit in the back of the block, the block is 1/8 pipe thread, I can't tell if the original oil line is std. thread or what? any ideas -thanks- graemlins/clonk.gif

Tony,
It's prbably an SAE size. Most "real" auto parts stores shold have a selection of fittings for you to go through and find one. I will take a look at the shop to see if I have anything close.

Thanks Bill-
p.s. you helped me with a starter problem I had about a month ago, couldn't figure out the offset bolt 153-168 tooth mess, I drilled and tapped the block to take the 153 starter and it worked great, no shims, no problems your wise advice is always greatly appreciated-thanks again
