Did a few searches but couldn't find much on the 1965. I found a guy parting out a 65 El Camino, are the fenders and hood the same as a Chevelle? I don't care about molding holes as everything will be smoothed over, just want to make sure the rest is the same. Now the doors I know have the frame, I read one thread that said you can remove the window frame and it's the same door as the Chevelle, is that true? Thanks all

The 65 chevelle and el camino share the same fenders and hood. Remove the upper window frame from the door and its the same.
