28,647 Super Sports (option code Z15) were produced in 1973, including SS wagons, but not including SS El Caminos. Of those, only 2,500 Super Sport Chevelles were equipped with the LS4 Turbo-Jet 454 option.

Kinda makes it 26,147 sb's in SS's.
