I just replaced my gas tank with a new one. And I aslo replaced the sending unit, straps, insulation, sending wire, everything! It took me all day by myself. But when I was done I filled the tank with gas and drove it around the block. The dash gauge never moved. I did everything right. double checked everything, and still the same. What does that mean? Could the sending unit be bad? This every happen to any one?? HELP!

Did you reconnect the sending unit's ground wire?

yes I connteced the wire. The gas gauge says there is no gas in the tank. I read how to check the dash gauge and I grounded the wire from the dash gauge and the neddle moved up to half a tank, so it would have to be the sending unit.
