Installed the headliner today and on the plastic trim that goes along the top of the windshield I cut it on either side of the mirror. Is this Ok or was it supposed to go all the way under the mirror? (changes mounting position some)
Also are these supposed to be black? I have a red interior and tried some plastic paint. Worked Ok but got a few chips that need to be touched up Im thinking they should have been left alone???

Mocking up windshield trim pieces and cannot figure out how these are supposed to attach or stay in place. Horizontal parts of the frame have small tits coming out, vertical sides have holes in there.

How the

Do I use adhesive in a tube for this or is there a roll of something thats better to use?

Fwiwfeedback on the Musclefactory headliner kit....Make sure you get the cardboardpieces that gobehind your head on the sides. I had a big order and we missed them, had to take extra headliner material and make something up instead.

Had to pay a pro to do this I tried for hours in vain even took him 4.5 hrs to get it right;trimming, heat gun, cutting, etc etc. He does it everyday and stuggled with it but came out real good in the end.

That front piece of trim is suppose to be one piece (it was in my 67 SS). They should be the interior color..or red in your case. Not familar with the ElCam interiors but my 67 hdtp doesn't have any covers on the A pillers, just the front strip across to top and then side trim overlaps it at the front corner.......on a hdtp.

It goes under the mirror. I just pulled a stock one out last week. They are interior color also.
