I can't find that cam anywhere. What's the part number or the advertised and ICL numbers?

Its a cam I took out of a 502...... It was in the high 600 lift so I'm having it reground to those spec's. Am I going to have problems with doing this ??????????

No, shouldn't be any problem doing that. I was going to run it on DynoSim for you, but I need advertised duration and ICL numbers to run the program. Do you know what they will be? Do you now the old part number, maybe I can guess a little.

Specs should be close to the CC 290HR if close counts :confused: I can get the specs on Mon. :thumbsup:

I went with standard flow on the intake because you said just a Performer, is that correct? With high flow (i.e. RPM, Air Gap, Stealth) it goes to 477 HP and 467 TQ at the same RPM's.

I'm thinking of maybe using an old style Edelbrock Torker intake, does it list that intake. Thanks

It doesn't list individual intakes, just dual plane and single plane either standard flow, high flow, or ported for each. There's better intakes out there now than the old Torker.

The advertised numbers are different for every cam maker, so don't worry about it much. Concentrate on the .050 numbers.

Does your sim put our engines at 415 hp/498 ft lbs?

429 HP and 489 TQ with stock size valves. The numbers jump with larger valves, 464 HP and 500 TQ, which is actually pretty close to Tom's.

Sorry to those that have no idea what we're talking about, just a little side talk between George and I.:D
