Just curious what you guy's have done. Installing dynamat type products on the doors, are you putting it directly behind the
door panel or are you putting it inside the door, say on inside part of door skin?

I put mine on the inside of the door to the outter skin. That way it deadend the sound before it got into the door body. I figured if it was on the door panel, the sound could stil radiate from around the window and such.

Same for me. Inside part of the door skin.

Hey Jim Nice 64. What size wheels and tires are you running?

Jim, Gotta stop by your place to check out your ride. I think we disucssed before that my brother lives in Cypress. Im there a couple times a year, now just to talk my wife into driving the chevelle that far.

I had factory sound deadener on the outside door skin so I just filled the depressions in on the metal door frame so the door panel would sit flush. I helped allot but it's hard to say if it would have been better completely filled. Sure made the door sound solid when closing.
