I have been subscribed to this forum since 2006, but do not believe I have introduced myself. I do not know it all, so my replies will probably be more tongue in cheek than actual help. I joined because I have seen what fun the people can have here plus there is a lot of useful information on this site.

I have seen the passing of several members since I have been lurking -- May they rest in peace.

I am here to have fun as most of my comments will show.

I currently do not have a car, but I am looking to get a “new” one in the future – preferably another 1970 SS or SS clone. Had a real SS in 1976 – Cortez Silver 4 speed yada yada yada.

If I make a comment on any of your posts and you feel it is inappropriate, please let me know. Like I say, I am here to have fun – not hurt anyone. Sometimes, as you know, a post may be taken the wrong way – no matter how many emotion-icons you put in it.

Wow McDonalds are more expensive where you live aren't they. Here in western Pa about$42.

Mike is just on his starter Chevelle. Its a 65.He'll work his way up to a 70 someday.:D

Yes Dan, there ARE other Chevelles..... I do hope that you will look upon the earlier years as starting a successful trend towards the eventual evolution to the 70's, 71's and mystical 72's with unheard of horsepower. It all had to start somewhere and why not with the '65?

Funny line, Gary - 'starter Chevelle.... made me laugh out loud. And by the way, I don't eat at McDonnies.... the Gospel Mission has a much better meal.
