Hi all. After selling my last project three years ago I caught the itch again to get another Chevelle. So I'm back with my membership to TC. I had to have another project to work on and the only choice was to find another great car, a Chevelle of course. So I found a 70 Chevelle Malibu in Arlinton, Wa. for $850.00. Built in Oshwa, Ontario originally Autumn Gold with pearl bench seat interior. It needs the usual rust repair, trunk, qtr, front fenders, but it's all there. I wasted no time in pulling the front end off and I am now set to strip the rest of the car. This will be the first time I'm going to do all the metal work myself, looking forward to the learning experience with help from all you knowledgable Chevelle buffs!. Plans are to convert to buckets with console and 4,5, or 6 speed, 4 wheel disc brakes, SS dash and probably another big block if I don't go with the new LSX motors. Any suggestions and/ or comments?
Thanks,
Chuck.

Welcome back Chuck. I'm old school and would say BIG BLOCK, But you can't beat the power, reliability and MPG guys are getting with those LS engines...

Yea, I hear ya on the big block, I'm still researching the LS motors. But I love the exhaust note of the Big block and Raw power!
