Hi,
Hope you don't mind a Lumina question. My son has a '97 that wouldn't start a few weeks ago. The dealer replaced a fuse connected to the key security system. It was ok for a week, but now has blown another fuse. He was able to start it somehow with the key on and 'jumping' a starter connection. Do any of you guys have a clue about whats going on before he heads for the dealer again?
Thanks!

Hi John, There is a relay that is incorporated into that circuit. Its possible that the wires have shorted or the relay is shorted. My guess is they will need to spend some time to trace out the short and repair it. The more information you can provide the techs the easier(cheeper) it will be for you.
I suggest putting in a new fuse and then see if you can make it blow. then tell the tech what it took to pop the fuse. that could save some time and money
