i am in the process of re assembling my dash on my 71 chevelle ss when i came across a problem. i cannot get the heater control unit to assemble. it looks like the tabs that the two sides slip into are broken. so what is a good option on getting the two halves remain one? i tried some high strength mounting tape and when you move the blower motor switch is breaks the bond. i also looked into getting a new one, but they dont seem to make them. so i am at a lose, any ideas?
