I'm installing a console kit from OPG into my 69 that is already a 4 speed. I believe I also need to purchase a rear bracket to mount the console to the floor? Are there any other brackets to buy, and do I need to purchase a new shift boot, retaining ring and shift tunnel, or will my current shift boot work?

Do you have an original console car and installing one or is it a factory non console,if a non the console shift boot and floor pan is different.

It's a factory non-console.

If memory serves me correctly ( I switched from non console to console about 5 years ago) you will need to weld a different shifter hump in. The console shifter hump is larger. You will also need a front and rear console mounting brackets. Finally you will need a different retaing ring and shifter boot. The non console retainer and boot have an almost square base and the console version is more rectangular. No shift tunnel on a 69.
