Welcome to the sire Cody  And yes there is a way to polish the plastic lens and even your plastic belt covers. I started a thread a while back Read It Here (http://www.chevelles.com/forums/showthread.php?t=106391&highlight=Polish+Plastic) If you need more help just ask.
The first set of pictures link do not work since yahoo stopped hosting pictures just keep on reading the thread and you will see more.
To remove the plastic lens you will have to heat up a small flat screwdriver and gently push the little green melted tabs towards the center so you can save some of the green plastic to hold it back in place. Its easy to do when putting the plastic lens back in just heat up a nail head and re melt the green tabs and your done.

Once you get that lens off be very careful with your gauges. One squirt of window cleaner and a wipe with a towel will smear the digits on you gauges and ruin them. If your guage backgrounds are still decent you just brush the dust off with a soft bristle brush. Get some caution red spray paint and spray some in the cap. Then use a paint brush to repaint the gauge needles. Buff your lens clear again and reassemble.
