I think this applies. This is way better than Bullit, the Blues Brothers, Smokey & the Bandit, and whatever else.

The bad guys are driving a 1976 Pontiac Parisienne, a Canadian car! Note the rectangle headlights (Bonneville only in the U.S.) with the Catalina grille, plus Impala door panels. It's a Parisienne for sure. They were tough cars. I regularly witnessed a friend flogging his '75 Safari wagon and I must say it was one tough car.

Me too. Same with a movie he did called Cloak & Dagger. Loved that movie when I was a kid. Where has he been all these years I wonder?

You know, when you guys put these car chase videos up. I spend a ton of time watching the other videos that show up after the posted video ends. Case in point. Check out the Cannonball video with a red 73-74 Trans Am racing against a yellow Pantera with a nice 68 Charger thrown in.

Not the best IMHO, those mopars of that generation were pigs, no performance from a 318 engine.

That was a really good movie... The guy who voiced Max Headroom was his partner..

Im still a little partial to this one though.. From one of my favorite movies..

If you havent seen the movie its actually the FBI chasing the Secret service.. they both think the other are the bad guys.

Or how about race with the Devil? Peter Fonda and Warren Oates.

Not sure it is the best....but a great one that I had never seen before.

Bullit isn't that great of a chase compared to what came later, but being the first and with coooooool cars it will always be one of the best.

To Live and Die in LA
Seven ups
Vanishing Point (no not the crappy remake)
French Connection
The Driver (go to you tube and search this one under "The Driver 1978" then it is the final pursuit)
