For a good assessment, We need more info. and some good pix of your car. A 307 powered 72 won't be the most desirable, So the condition will be the biggest determining factor...

Very nice looking. I would like to see some interior, under hood and possibly some undercarriage pix. and a list of options like A/C, power disc brakes etc;
With the economy and the time of year and if the rest of the car is as good is the pix make it out to be, I'd put a conservative guess at 8-10K. If things get better come summer, I think you could add another 4-5K to that.

The interior is perfect, all new carpet and headliner. It has a/c. Ill get the rest of the info and pics later, thanks

Nice 72 (name?) How long have you owned it? Did you buy it that way?

Its a malibu, it was originally green with black top(i think), I bought it 2 years ago and everything was already done to it except for the engne upgrades i did,which were new intake, valve covers, and carburator.

I am seeing big block four speed '71/'72 cars in nice looking condition/nice paint going for 10-13 grand. Would like to see an engine compartment shot, and some underside pics, however based on what we have now, and the current inventory of cars not selling, I will go with $9,000, based on the 307,and paint being "good."

you won't see mine for 10-13 grand:noway:

On that car I'll say 8-10 more when the prices go back up.

I was thinking the same thing, where in the world can you find "nice" 71-72 big block 4 speed cars for 10 grand? And when you say big block 4 speed, I am under the assumption they are SS cars.
