Hi guys
i bought the Foose legends wheels for my El-camino some months ago...
front 18x7 and rear 18x9.The front tires are 225-40-18 and on the rear 245-40-18.
The front tires are very bad so i need to have some new tires for those wheels.
Can i put 245-40-18 tires on the front 18x7 wheels??and 275-40-18 tires on the rear 18x9 wheels??
does it fit and how does it look???
thanks for your time
Andre

The rears would work, but I think that front tires is a little to wide for a 7" wheel.
Check the tire specs to see the rim range they are suggested for.

agreed. max I would go on a 7" wheel would probably be 225. i have a 7.5" wheel on my other car and i'm running a 215 - with this the sidewall is pretty flat already. the 225 on a 7.5" wheel would probably be a little bulbous as it is.

Many people on the Cobalt forums put 245/40/18 on a 7 inch wide wheel, however I wouldn't do it.
In front I would use a 225/45/18(25.9" diameter), the 275/40/18s will be a little over a 1.5 taller than the front. If you get much smaller in front the wheel/tires look too small in my opnion.

I agree with others that the 7" wide wheel might have a bit of over hang with a 245 tire. I put 255's on a 17 x 8 and them seem to look okay. I know this is not the classified area but thought these would look good on your car;) http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330298304985&indexURL=9&photoDisplayType=2#ebayphotohosting
