How big are your wheels going to be? Some of the more expensive kits you HAVE TO put at least a 17 inch wheel on. My Right Stuff rear discs require at least a 15 inch non drum brake wheel(bought the car with 14" Ultra wheels). The fronts however, which are actually a Nova brake kit from Classic Performance Products allowed me to stay with a stock drum spindle, just grinding the spindle a bit to let the bracket fit allowed a 14" wheel but again I had the drum wheels, so I just had to keep the calipers off when rolling the car around....didn't have the rear brakes at that time. The rear set is basically a Cadillac rear brake setup, which allows you to run an emergency brake cable, you just have to mention the application when ordering the cables since I believe they're a bit longer.

If you look around the net or ebay sometimes there's better deals going on for standard disc setups. Don't forget the proportioning valve.
