aight I need yall help. A while back I had a brand new iginition switch installed in my columb on my 70 velle, it was all workin nice and everything. It was a columb shift with th350 trans. My dad recently put a floor shift in (B&M). The iginition switch continued to work. All of a sudden, we go to fire it up, the switch won't move AT ALL.

I lowered the columb and took that lil electrical thing off and that rod goin don the columb wouldn't move even with that thing off so I know its not that. Could this have anything to do with it recently being a columb shift? It couldn't be the iginition switch its brand new...

Make sure the column base is turned all the way to the left. Since it's now a floor shift, this part should turn when the floor shifter is moved. If it's not adjusted correctly, it won't allow the key to turn.
