plain 69 Oct 12th, 02, 12:22 PM First of all I sorry this is not Chevelle related but I need some help. My 83 T/A won't start with the 4 wire plug plugged in which I disconnected to time the car. Runs fine unplugged but soon as you plug it won't even start. Is there a short somewhere? ------------------ 69 Malibu 406 Bracket racer. ACES Member #3635 Schurkey Oct 13th, 02, 10:03 AM Used to be a common problem. Unplugging the 4-wire connector put the computer in "limp home" mode. ****ty milage, but it ran. Seems to me the usual cause was a toasted distributor module. It's been years since I've worked on one, though. | ||
