: Wiper motor will not park all the time?

I have never removed the wiper motor in a 69 and the park switch is not tight or something. The wipers oscillate up and down about two inches and will not park. I am assuming that the switch/mechanism inside is loose or out of tow!

Does the motor come out of there with just the four screws attaching it to the fire wall and/or is there a keeping device on the drive shaft?

Just my two sense!

There's a nut on the end of the motor shaft. This holds the transmission on the motor. You need to access this nut between the firewall and the windshield and remove it. Separate the trans from the motor and then remove the motor mounting screws.
