how should my rearend be painted (carefull!)

I have seen pics of both natural steel and chassis black.

Hard to say for sure? When you cleaned it up was their any trace of paint on it?
Mine was natural so it had surface rust on it so I painted my with the natural color of metal and the cast.
Most of them were natural with surface rust, but yours being a Canada car might be different?
Maybe someone will chime in this thread and give you some more info about Canada built cars?

Nice pics and even nicer job on the 69! Bravo!

I noticed you have a hurst shifter with the reverse switch linkage hooked up. May I ask where you got the shifter linkage & brackets for the reverse light switch?

I saved a lot of your pics and IF i decide to detail my chassis i wil definately be following your lead.

p.s. do you drive it much? My only concern is going to all that trouble then being underneath the car all the time to clean it up.

pps...are the SS wheels you have 14s or 15s?
